I NEVER write reviews but after this experience I believe its warranted. I have a 2000 Chevy Astro Van with 143k which I used for work. One day I went to start the van and it would turn on. No crank, no nothing. So I took it to my local mechanic and the nightmare began. After two weeks I was told it was fixed. While driving it home the dash board lights began to flicker and the van wouldn't turn off! So I took it back. Two weeks after I was told the problem was fixed. When I went to pick it up I found the steering column cover broken, the dashboard cracked, and the fuse box under the hood totally disassembled and broken. Also. The original problem still not fixed! Furiously, I brought it to the owners attention and AGAIN left it with him to be rectified. Another two weeks and though he replaced the broken parts the original problem was STILL not fixed. NO MORE CHANCES! Six weeks WASTED! So after a looong search online for a reputable mechanic I found MIDDLE COUNTRY AUTOMOTIVE! The BEST experience I EVER had with a mechanic. Keith is a true professional and AWESOME! I explained my problem to him and he was able to diagnose the problem without even looking at it! In ONE DAY the problems were fixed and I was back on the road! THESE GUYS ARE MY NEW MECHANICS FOR LIFE!!!

I normally come here for my motorcycle New York state inspection. Today I came here for an oil pan gasket on a 2004 Ford Taurus because they are notorious for leaking, drop the vehicle off just before closing and was ready the following day by 11:30 a.m. and my wife is extremely happy to know that she would not be taking an Uber to work at Stony Brook University hospital. When we picked up the car I know it's the check engine light was on but was unable to address it with the owners at that particular time, but I did come back later that day a half hour before closing and they brought the car into the shop immediately upon my arrival, and it wound up being an O2 sensor that was accidentally damaged while removing the y pipe from the exhaust system, totally an honest mistake and could have happened to any mechanic. What's in 35 minutes my car was brought outside and the check engine light was off and the minor issue was fixed. This review it's for the Selden location.
